Our Privacy Commitment to You

We recognize, respect, and protect the personal privacy rights of all our customers. We are committed to providing the highest level of security and privacy regarding the collection and use of our customers' personal information.

  • It is not necessary for you to instruct us not to share information with these non-affiliated parties because we automatically keep your information confidential.

The provisions of this policy apply to former customers as well as current customers.

Our Security Procedures

We are committed to protecting the security and integrity of customer information through procedures and technology designed for this purpose. For example, we limit employee access to customer information to those who have a business reason to know this information. We train our employees about the importance of maintaining confidentiality of customer information. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to store and secure customer information.

Non-public Personal Information We Collect

We collect non-public personal information about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms, such as your address, employment, income, and accounts with others.
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others, such as your account balance, payment history, overdraft history, parties to transactions, and account usage.
  • Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency or outside company, such as your credit history, employment status, or handling of a checking account.

Non-public Personal Information We Disclose

We do not disclose any non-public personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted or required by law. Examples of circumstances in which we disclose information include the following:

  • To report activity to credit bureaus.
  • To respond to a subpoena, court order, or judicial process.
  • To comply with a law or regulation.
  • To those with whom you have authorized us to release information.
  • To federal, state, and local authorities if we believe a crime may have been committed involving your account.
  • To our independent auditors, accountants, attorneys, and agencies that regulate us.
  • In response to an inquiry about whether a check you have written on an account with clear.
  • To consumer reporting agencies.

In addition, we may also disclose information about you to our service providers or other parties when necessary or helpful in processing transactions you initiate. For example, we may disclose information to third parties that conduct data processing, print your checks, issue ATM cards, conduct appraisals, and provide credit insurance products. We do not share medical information that we may obtain in insurance applications or claims with anyone, except for the purposes you have authorized. We do not share information with unrelated third parties to use for their own purposes.

Joint Marketing/Service Provider Disclosure. We may disclose the above described non-public personal information we collect to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements. We maintain contractual confidentiality agreements with these parties to ensure information is not shared with any other party or used for any other purpose than those contracted with us.

Fair Credit Reporting Act Information Sharing and Marketing Opt Out. Rocky Mountain Bank shares information with our affiliated companies so we can work together to serve you better. Rocky Mountain Bank's affiliates include our parent company, Rocky Mountain Capital, and Rocky Mountain Wealth Concepts, through which investment services are offered. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, we have the right to share information regarding our transactions or experiences with you. Unless you instruct otherwise, we also have the right to share other information about you with our current and future affiliates. This other information may include, but is not limited to, application information, credit reports from a consumer reporting agency, and any other information we have about you. You may also limit our affiliates from marketing their products or services to you based on your personal information that we collect and share with them. This personal information includes all of the above described non-public personal information we collect. You can instruct us not to share other personal information about you with our affiliated companies by utilizing the opt out method set forth below. If you select this option, we will not share any personal information about you with our affiliates for direct marketing purposes. If you chose to opt out, your choice will remain in effect as long as you are a customer. If you have already made a choice to opt out, you do not need to do so again.

Opt Out Information

Financial Products or Services to Which Your Opt Out Applies. If you elect to opt out of information sharing we will treat that opt out as applying to all financial products or services that you have obtained from us in the past or that you may obtain from us in the future.

Your Right to Opt Out of Information Sharing. If you prefer that we not disclose information not solely related to transactions or experiences with you to our affiliated companies, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law).

We will treat an opt out direction by any joint account holder as applying to all parties on the account.

How to Opt Out of Information Sharing. Indicate your preference to opt out of information sharing with affiliates, and include your name and address.

Notify Us of Inaccurate Information We Report To Consumer Reporting Agencies. Please notify us if we report any inaccurate information about your account(s) to a consumer reporting agency. Your written notice describing the specific inaccuracy (ies) should be sent to us at the following address: Rocky Mountain Bank, PO Box 938, Jackson, WY 83001-0938.

Policy Changes. The policies and practices described in this disclosure are subject to change, but we will communicate any significant changes to you as required by applicable law. The policies and practices described in this disclosure replace all previous notices or statements regarding this subject.
